This fine example of the legendary German WWI Aircraft gun is nicely marked SPANDAU and dated 1917 on the top cover and serial number 8129 (often shortened to 29 on smaller parts) is on nearly every part of the gun

with no tears in the cover or cracks in the cardboard stiffener

making it easier for a warrior to breathe while wearing the helmet
