and Marine standing upon a block identifying the action for which the medal was awarded

Millers Archive 1808 by Franz IIn silver gilt, the obverse bears the Latvian coat of arms, the three stars of the coat of arms have rays dispersing from them, below is a diamond shaped medallion with the cipher KTK, all encompassed by a wreath of oak leaves, with multiple cut out details, the reverse is plain and bears the silver mark 875 and V.
