Constructed of partially gilded silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a five pointed star with white enameled arms, superimposed over a radiant decagon and with a pair of poleaxes piercing the centrepiece, overlaid by a semi circular laurel leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by a shield bearing a hammer and sickle, in turn overlaying a sword, bow, and quiver of arrows, surrounding a central medallion bearing a leftward facing
