Italy. A Royal Navy Cruisers War Navigation Badge, (2Nd Degree) With Packet, C.1942 Buy Now that took place in 1389Bronze gilt, maker marked "R. DAZZI" and "S. JOHNSON" on the reverse, 44. 7 mm x 49. 3 mm, vertical pinback, extremely fine. In its glassine packet of issue, maker marked "JOHNSON MILANO ROMA" on the front, undulated, packet near very fine. Footnote: This badge was introduced on May 27, 1944 and was awarded for thirty months of embarkation or 3,000 hours of navigation and three war engagements.
