I did my best to try to discern a date but I'm just not comfortable trying to be exact with this piece

Edgar Hoover Typed & Signed Letter Dated Sept. 15, 1939 Silver Bars G34a - GoodAddressed to John J Flaherty of Jersey City New Jersey this typed and hand signed letter is a bit vague as to what the correspondence is referencing. The paper shows a touch of discoloring on the right side, but the paper is very solid, amazingly has no pinholes, and terrific contrast with the bold FBI letterhead and solid signature.
