Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Model 1765 “Prinz Eugen” Sabre, By Carl Eickhorn Auction Archive Constructed of silvered and gilded(Heer Sbel fr Offiziere). An extremely well preserved Heer Officers Model 1765 Prinz Eugen sabre, measuring 970 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 810 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and unspoiled edged. Presenting with a gentle curvature, the blade features double sided fullers running approximately three quarters of its length. It is plain with the exception of a makers mark near the reverse
