Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white painted disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel overlaid by an HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of GAUSIEGER 1944, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked G. BREHMER, MARKNEUKIRCHEN, measuring 49. 69 mm
