Though situated in the heart of the Sagrantino di Montefalco zone, they dont use the DOCG because of the Dutch bottles. 100% Sagrantino, harvested in the second half of September. The grapes were pressed directly into wooden barriques and aged for about 20 months with occasional battonage. The wine was bottled without clarification or filtration.
