An ovular silver medal, the obverse bearing a superimposed red enamel cross on a white enamel shield, being held by two angels, the inscription PATRAIE AC HVMANITATI at 6 oclock, the exterior is surrounded by a war decoration presented by a green enamel laurel and oak wreath, the reverse features the years 1864 1914 surrounded by a silver laurel and oak wreath, measures 36mm (w) x 49mm (h inclusive of
