A 75Th Anniversary Estonian Fire Service Badge, By Roman Tavast, C.1943 Newly Listed the future King John VIA badge of multi piece construction, constructed of silvered bronze and blue and white enamels, commemorating the years from 1868 to 1943, the centre obverse presents a silver flower over a blue and white enamelled shield, inscribed VLVTU, surmounted by a firemans helmet set against oak leaves, the reverse presents a screw back plate, maker marked ROMAN TAVAST, TALLINN, measuring 30. 87 mm (w) x 44. 60 mm (h), and in near extremely fine condition.
