It chemically reacts with rust to provide a black barrier coating which will offer corrosion protection. It can be primed, filled and painted over with most standard paint systems to provide ultimate protection to your rusted surface. Great for use on rusted iron or steel surfaces where it is not practical to remove the existing rust completely. Can be used on rusted steel,
