consisting of a bright scarlet red field bearing a 258 mm (w) x 247 mm (h) white cotton five-pointed star stitched in place in the center on both sides

One central pleat runs down the center of the back of the tunic. The insignia of the Royal Fusiliers is emblazoned on both sides of the collar. Each cuff is decorated with two rank stars denoting Lieutenant. The front is completed by four pockets and three large buttons, with one missing.
