Constructed of red rayon, each end completing in a band of gold bullion wire tassels, the obverse flanked on each end by a white canvas disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, the obverse left bearing an inscription of DER OBERBRGERMEISTER DER STADT MANNHEIM (THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF MANNHEIM) in gold Fraktur script, unmarked, measuring 17. 5 cm (w) x 232 cm (l), with material fatigue evident to both the rayon and canvas features,
