A Member’s Knife, Transitional Example, by Lauterjung & Co. consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac fine chipping and crazing evident(HJ Fahrtenmesser). An HJ members knife, measuring 26 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 14 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains some factory original sharpening to both the tip and lower edge. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE! (BLOOD AND HONOUR! in cursive script. The reverse is maker marked with the classic TIGER logo of Lauterjung & Co., Solingen, with
