Anaphyllum wightii Size:9cm waxy leaves adorned with silverAnaphyllum wightii is a rhizomatous aroid from south west India and the Lakshadweep Islands. It is a terrestrial species of evergreen and semi evergreen forest, and current references treat it as native to the southern Western Ghats as well as Lakshadweep. Anaphyllum wightii has a creeping rhizome and an upright growth habit, with long brownish petioles and leaves that are pinnatisect to pinnatipartite rather than entire. The leaf segments are usually
