I am not quite sure what purpose it might have had other than to serve as a decorative souvenir

which would have been used to cut leather for gloves and mittens

with some printed text along the very bottom edge

Cut from lined paper long ago, surely by a school child, with plenty of toning staining to the paper now, all to the good. I purchased it from a paper deal at Brimfield and put it in this old wooden frame, walnut I believe, to keep it safe and forever reaching! Framed: 7 1 8" x 5 3 8". Very good
