Original German Made Percussion Carbine Cut-down from Musket marked to Otto I of Greece - dated 1853 Night Sights Moved to RAF Alconbury inOriginal Item: Only One Available. We believe this to be a German made musket, cut down to resemble a Cavalry Carbine, but it is not fitted with Cavalry accessories such as Saddle Ring. The lock plate is marked with a Crown over the Letter "O", for King Otto of Greece. Under this is the word "MADAKI", but we do not know what meaning this holds. It is also dated 1853 across the lock plate tail. The barrel is now 20" in length and full stocked measuring
