showing the backing as sewn together of pieces of what I believe is sack cloth

Crusty, Sculptural Old White Painted Cricket Stool grecian sculpture (If only Vladimir Putin wouldI'm forever searching for old handmade stools with lots of character and this one reads to me as much as sculpture as it does functional object, though having stood on this one a few times hanging pictures high on the wall, I can say it very functional, too. Satisfying construction, especially the way those diagonal supports meet the grooves cut into the top and legs, perfectly crusty old white paint, and beautifully softened edges from time and use.
