in two parts joined by interlocking wooden pins

often in the form of “whitework” - white thread on white cotton

slightly undulating form is really elegant

Antique French Deco Gold and Blue Micro-beaded Purse wall hanging cabinet Both frame and drawing inNot exactly my usual thing, but I find the beadwork on this, using tiny tiny metallic beads, so fine and lovely I could not resist it, and it feels quite glamorous and transportive. Made in France, c. 1920s I believe, it is a bit delicate to actually use now, and is missing a front closure, but I really like looking at it, and surely there are a variety of ways it could be displayed, or just kept around to serve as inspiration. Clearly it once was
