C. 1920s Sterling Track and Field Medal Engraved "1st High Jump" miniature nativity and is to my eye

and is to my eye a pretty perfect vessel--earthy and also really elegant

with lead residue on the mold and scalding to the wood

The scale of it is right to have been used as a handheld mirror

with doily-like patterns

and would guess this dates close to the former

C. 1920s Sterling Track and Field Medal Engraved "1st High Jump" miniature nativity and is to my eyeI find the two runners one of them looking pretty exhausted! on the face of this sterling medal both lovely and poignant, and even better that it be engraved "1st High Jump" on reverse, which makes it seem to me just right as a gift for most anyone who has accomplished something that felt like a high jump! 1920s or so I believe and still attached to a rather beautiful old leather strap. I have not touched it but should one desire it should polish up
