Now this is a fantastic memento from WWI! This is a cut aircraft skin section from a German aircraft, most likely from a downed aircraft. We are not certain as to what aircraft this came from but it looks to have been cut from the fuselage. The condition is quite nice with vivid colors and easily discernible sections. The image present is a partial Balkenkreuz Balkan Cross. The Balkenkreuz (lit. '"beam cross" or "bar
