The grouping once belonged to the Assistant Flight Engineer Gunner for the B 24 Lucky Strike, John C. Swindle. Swindle served with the 528th Bomb Squadron, 380th Bombardment Group during WWII. The 380th Bombardment Group (H) flew B 24 Liberator bombers primarily in the Southwest Pacific Theatre in WWII. They were part of the 5th Air Force and were known as the FLYING CIRCUS
