A little research seems to indicate that H. G Quirin was at it breeding queens for quite a long time, with a notation (of an advertisement in a bee keeping journal) as early as 1861, but with this envelop postmarked 1921! (I think perhaps the the former notation is incorrect, but who knows?) The envelop itself looks c.
