TIBLOC Ultra-lightweight Emergency Ascender Climb commuting and spinThe Petzl TIBLOC is an ultra lightweight emergency ascender that punches well above its 35g weight. It works as a rope ascender, a progress capture device in a haul system, or a replacement for a friction hitch in self rescue situations. An automatic system presses the carabiner against the rope to initiate braking in any position, and a stainless steel cam with angled teeth and evacuation slot maintains a secure grip even on muddy or icy ropes.
