Three of the four I have are in great condition

and is emblematic of Takei's woodblock prints

and really love the patterning of the blonde and darker wood--product of a very labor intensive effort

The lid features a very dark stain with a nice border detail

Those striped and checkerboard patterns-- created by way of the natural dyes--are pretty great too

I especially like the form of this one, with its round body and long thin neck, and the bird that appears on one side, rendered in that amazing Persian blue with green belly and wings.
