Farnsworth's 1878 Linen Mending and Darning Schoolwork Sampler in Red religious watercolor I am thinking this isIt's hard to tell scale from photos, I know, but the red darned square on this small 1878 schoolgirl sewing sampler is as precise as any I've ever seen the stitches are teeny teeny teeny tiny, and it's really a beautiful thing.
