Foster, c. 1920s big bad wolf Halsted handwritten on the undersideI found this watercolor in an old frame with mat that was well stained, so I opened it up and extracted it, finding a title on the back of the matting in the process: "Blue Dusk (Bathsheeba)", which makes me imagine this beach was the site of lust of some sort on the part of the L. Foster who signed it! Whatever the case, quite a nicely done and effectively transportive! amateur seascape I'd say, c. 1920s or so I would guess. 11 13 16" x 7 3 8". Very
