I've found a few old toy molds over time similar in construction to this one--described by the seller as a cat

but it'd be a really fun one for a kid's room too

Austrian Modernist Round Lidded Box with Hand-drawn Designs cyanotype rppc he’s got a brilliant humanityI've not seen another like this, made in Austrian c. 1920s I believe, which feels Art Deco Constructivist Bauhaus, with the hand drawn painted designs on the lid hovering between abstraction and figuration. (I see a sort of Moholy Nagy radio tower at top, and two kneeling figures that are also pure geometry at lower right).
