We were able to locate information on the German soldier

The rear skirt of the helmet has the name Lengenfeldt in white paint

Reportedly the sound of gunfire was heard off Oahu and gun flashes were seen

Condition is very good with a lovely worn plated patina to a lot of the metalwork

It comes complete with an original steel scabbard, which is fitted in a very nice Navy leather frog. Condition of the bayonet is very good, with a great lightly worn look.
