Woman with Hand on Pedestal 1923 Pencil Drawing by Charles Martin drawing of man in profile which I assume dates toFrom her ringlets, to her pearls, to the drape of her shawl, to her bangled wrist and the way her hand leans on this pedestal, I really love the poise and attitude of this woman! I also like how the drawing perfectly swirls ancient Greece and 1920s America together, making our subject a rather transcendental woman for the ages. Altogether, I must say I find her rather inspiring, and would not want to cross her! 8 3 4" x 5 7 8", pencil on cream paper.
