1872 or so based on one other set I've found sold at auction that was dated by hand on the underside of the box

are all about book as object for me--namely about the gorgeous hand-printed paper on the  cover-boards

Printed paper over folded card, I just thought think they were curious and made quite a visually satisfying little set and I can't find another quite like it out there, though Japanese origami paper dice are definitely a thing. 1920s 30s I believe.
