This is a very nice example of a dark blue canvas covered Model 1877 French 2 liter canteen, complete with the original cover and full length leather shoulder strap. Amazingly, the cork stopper is present but not the wood plug. Overall condition of the canteen and cover is very good. The leather carry strap is complete and supple.
