Original British Brown Leather “Lance Boot” for Lancer Troops by A. Ross Co. Ltd - dated 1900 MILITARIA and stamped with a WOriginal Item: Only One Available. Here we have a very late Victorian Era British "Lance Boot", made of substantial brown leather. These were intended to attach to the brown leather saddle and tack on the Lance Troopers mount. The boot is maker marked and dated on the side just under the strap slot: A. ROSS & Co. LTD. 1900 Almost resembling a hose nozzle, this is what the back end of the lance stands in when being carried in the vertical position by
