The cover of the portfolio is fairly torn as are the paper backings for a few of the tipped in prints

It's seen some wear

but I am not really certain how old this piece is

with the horsehair woven through what seems likely to be linen cloth (visible just above the scalloped edge of the pink cloth)

and indeed I'd love to build a whole dressing room around it

I really love how each batch I've found has a different personality, and, like rocks, each marble is unique. Just so lovely. About 50 marbles exactly as shown. They are making pretty dramatic shadows against this white plate! These average about 1 2" in diameter, some a little bigger, some a little smaller. I've tried to weed out any with much damage,
