Colorfully Hand-painted Old Papier Mache Mask vintage Russian doll Pencil on woveI am not entirely certain the origins of this old painted paper mache mask I am guessing Japanese, with a bit of a Lucha Libre (Mexican Wrestler) feel to the painted decoration too! It feels to be a pretty old one, the color in it is just terrific, and the there are eye holes and two holes at the sides by which one could thread ribbon in order to wear it. (Otherwise, it is threaded at the top for hanging.) 9 3 19" t x 7 5 8" wide (measured straight
