1873 Offered in very nice condition is this trapdoor rifle in 45-70 government caliber

and does look to have been repainted during wartime

First raised as the Earl of Arran's Regiment of Cuirassiers in 1685 it became the 4th Royal Irish Dragoons Guards in 1788

The condition is wonderful for an item that saw extensive wear and use in the field

One of a Kind. This is a phenomenal set, including an Overseas Cap & Brigadier Generals flag attributed to Air Force General William E. Farthing, who (then a Colonel) commanded Hickam Field in Hawaii from November to December 1941, and during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He served as a Brigadier General from April 19th, 1942 through the end of World War II, before being promoted to Major General in 1949. The flag measures 37 x
