Antique Brass "Bird Wing" Ceiling Fixture with Retractable Blades recliner This item is from Shermanc. 1920s; The Mid West Chandelier Co. Kansas City, MO Antique "Mid West Fan Lite" ceiling fixture. This piece was a very example of retractable blade fans. When powered on, the centrifugal force of the rotation causes the blades to splay outward from their stationary position once the motor hits full speed. Attached to the brass body are five light sockets for bulbs that power on with the fan. Exhibits minor signs of wear including tarnish and some
