Dated 1573, this work was created for the papal coronation of Gregory XIII and bears the coat of arms of house Buoncampagni. Simple Flora, fauna, and two enigmatic cherubs (most of the common garden variety rendered in superb detail) all make up the rich border, and the four Evangelists grace the center, clearly the work of a
