Alfred Henry Victor Adcock was a resident of Norfolk, and was 23 and a lorry driver living at the Jolly Farmers public house, East Dereham when he attested for the A. S. C. (motor transport) on 4. 12. 14 He saw his overseas service on the Western front and was wounded on 5 9 17, eventually being discharged on 5 11 18. In addition to a British war medal, he is also entitled to a Silver war
