Ancient Roman Glass Beads Strand, 11 Beads Malian 22mm from top to bottomBeautiful and rare ancient Roman glass beads excavated in Mali, West Africa. These are about 2,000 years old, from the "Silk Road" trade. Oval shapes of calcified blue glass with small round blue glass beads in between, 5 6mm. Larger ovals have chips at the ends, which is typical for these excavated beads. Longest oval is 19mm long. 11 beads on this short strand. One of a kind!
