Jap A Lac was one of Glidden's most well known brands in 1903. The Cleveland based Glidden Company was founded in 1875, by Francis Harrington Glidden, Thomas Bolles and Levi Rackett. Between 1832 and 1922, the company produced about 1,000 gallons a week of their varnishes and finishes and made their deliveries by horse and wagon. CONDITION
